TI DSP Evaluation Board Supports Removable Storage Devices

It uses an independent power supply for A/D sampling, which effectively reduces electro-magnetic interference (EMI) to the computing unit. The board offers code for testing CCS, PWM, ADC, SPI, SCI, CAN communication, FFT, DC brush/brushless motors and AC motors SPWM and SVOWM. It is ideal for prototyping, study and experimentation in such applications as scientific research and product development.
This TI DSP evaluation board, model DEC6713, operates at a frequency of 200MHz at a maximum speed of 2400MIPS. It has both external shielded and unshielded interrupt inputs and also supports removable storage devices. The TI DSP evaluation board can be integrated into a user's system easily and directly. It boasts on-board VL-Bus, data/address/control lead-out wires, special function pins with lead-out wires and 8 status indicating LEDs. The evaluation board provides an MP3 hardware decoding chip, a 10M Ethernet interface, a USB host interface and 3.5mm audio jacks for MIC, line-in and phone.
